Hey it's Savannah... i just wanted to post here about a few of my friends.... the horses at the farm. I don't own a horse, but I hope to someday. First and foremost is Conner, my favorite. He is an adorable little Flea Bite and the sweetest thing ever! He follows me around like a puppy... he's a lazy thing, too. When I'm tacking him he lays his head on my shoulder and starts to fall asleep. He's also really skittish. He won't even go near the rodeo ring at the farm, even when it's empty because he's scared of it. He loves to run with the herd out in the fields, but as soon as he sees me he perks his ears up, trots over to the fence and puts his head over it so I can pet him. There's another horse kind of like that at the farm. His name is Doc; a big, beautiful Golden Palomino. He loves people too. Sometimes he's way on the other side of the huge, open green field, so far I can barely see him, and then I just whistle for him, and he jumps up and starts to gallop toward me. He looks almost like a phantom horse, with the light shining through his golden mane and tail, and his hooves going so fast they barely touch the ground. Another of my favorites is Moon. She's two years old now, a gorgeous Buckskin filly. Her mother was named star for the white star shaped mark on her forehead, and Moon was given her name for her mark of a white crescent moon. She is in training right now, and she's a smart little thing. I guess in horse terms she's in kindergarten. She's pretty wild, and not as comfortable around humans as the others. But still, she's a sweet gal. There are at least 15 horses at the farm, so i only have room for one more for now; Buster. Buster.... he... is the most human like horse I've ever met. He is very picky, and has a preference on everything. He has so much personality. He is very grumpy, too. He hates to be ridden, but he'll do it. He bites sometimes when we're tacking him, and he gets feisty around other horses. He's pretty old though, an old western cutting horse. He's a Flea Bite like Conner. He thinks he rules the place, but the only other horse he actually likes, in fact loves, is baby Buckeye. Buster is an old grandpa horse, and Buckeye is still just a fuzzy foal, and they spend all there time together. I think buster thinks that Buckeye is his son.
