Christmas!!!!

Christmas is on its way! The Thanksgiving pilgrims and turkeys are being packed away, and the Christmas lights are going up! Every night on our street another house is decorated with bright colors. Our dad just did ours tonight, and i think it is the best one so far. :) We hung stockings and wreathes, too. I can't believe it everything is already getting so Christmasy! :) :) :) But the best part of Christmas, of course, is the birth of the Savior!

Civil War Nashville

Yesterday in Nashville there was a sort of civil war reenactment, with people dressed up as soldiers and pioneers and lots of other things. McKayla especially loved seeing the ladies with the huge colorful dresses and feathery hats. There were soldier's tents set up everywhere like a camp, a little 'hospital' for the soldiers, a bakery, even a place where they would take baths back then! My favorite part, of course, was the dog. there was this little black puppy named Clover and she was the cutest thing ever!

The Dancing Horse
